Used for making ribbed indents

Due to the thinness of the graphite ‘teeth’, extra caution is recommended. Don't go throwing it around and expect it not to chip; it's graphite, not brass. Yet don't be afraid to roll molten glass on it either.

However, if the ‘teeth’ do become chipped, the tool will still function as designed.
