LATEST PRODUCT ADDITIONS
1/24/2012
It's that time of year again. CGBeadrollers will be 3 years old on Feb 1st.

This years Limited Edition will be a Mini Vessel Sampler!!
This is a sweet little CGBbeadroller. Six versions of mini vessels. I've included a picture of some that I've made, oh cr@p, these were fun. Limited Edition means you'd better get it during the sellabration (Jan 24th - Feb 8th). It will go into 'coveted' mode with the other two sampler, and only brought out on special occasions.

But wait...
You'll also get the handy dandy flame bag.

But wait...
You can also use these shapes for, hmm, finials? drawer pulls? spear heads?
(ok, maybe not weapons)

As a bonus, I've also put up the Sampler CGBeadroller and the Ribbed Sampler CGBeadroller. All three will be available for a limited time - Jan 24th thru Feb 8th.
Look for them on the VESSEL PAGE.

But wait...
As if that weren't enough, we're having A DRAWING. For every $25 you purchase in Jewelry Tools and/or Findings, your name will be entered to win one of two stringer project tray. These are so handy for arranging your stuff, and if you're like me, you have a lot of stuff to arrange and drag from table to table. The powder coating will also withstand a hot (but not glowing hot) rod of glass, just in case you are so inclined (like me) to also use them to lay your hot twisties straight while they are cooling.

Last but not least, don't forget about my big Anniversary gift, the new lower prices.
Price reductions are marked on each and every CGBeadroller. This is not a sale, the prices are permanent. Price reductions are marked on each and every CGBeadroller.

Thanks for giving me an awesome 3 years!

HOW DO I DETERMINE WHICH BEADROLLER(S) ARE RIGHT FOR ME?
-Do you have a favorite shape? choose that one.

-A "mixed cavity" is a good one started with if you don't know what shape you like to do the most, or if you want a variety of shapes about the same size.

-Is there one shape that you do a lot? ie. spacers for your jewelry. that roller will give you speed and your spacers consistency, so you can spend more time on your focals. or if you make a living off of making sets, speed + consistent beads = $$, time is money.

-Is there one shape that frustrates you the most? ie. I could never get the ridge to run around the middle of my bicones.

-Do you do a lot of large focals? try one of the large cavity rollers to get a quicker symmetrical base bead built up, so you can spend more time on decorating.

-Do you do tabs? one of the reasons I had the original chunky oval made years ago, was so I could get a symmetrical tab when I flattened the oval.

-Do you want a shape that is difficult to get with a flat marver? I've become really partial to the disc.

You just have to ask yourself the right question.

You might be a lampwork artist if:

  • You have a flower garden just so you can have models for your next set of beads...
  • You notice instead of it being dark outside, it's Moretti black...
  • You chase firetrucks...
  • You pause the evening news so you can see the anchors necklace...
  • Your favorite coffee cup sits on your work table with coffee and pulled glass in it...
  • The neighbors know from the squeals in the morning that you just pulled your best set ever out of the kiln...
